Spooky Needlework
I’ve got a few spooky projects in the works for Halloween.
This is the rough draft of an embroidery pattern I’ve been designing. It’s based on an old 20’s print I’ve kept for a few years as inspiration.
I’ve started it as a brown work… but now I’m not so sure and may add more color.
I’m also working to finish a creepy wool wall hanging with templates found at Martha Stewart… I think I want to embroider a large web in the background and maybe add some beading like dew on the web.
I’m sure Autumn is coming with projects like these in the making.

Wishing you all a lovely, long Labor Day weekend to all my friends in the U.S.
I found the image above on Pinterest. I love poking around there for all the pretty pictures and inspiration. And now if you’ll excuse me, I think I need to go make some peach cobbler.
