I am thankful for a lawn that needs mowing, windows that need cleaning and gutters that need fixing because it means I have a home…. I am thankful for the piles of laundry and ironing because it means my loved ones are nearby.

I shouldn’t say this too loudly, but I actually like doing laundry. I especially love folding warm laundry right out of the dryer.
Doing laundry well can save lots and lots of $$$$.
This week I’m focusing on cleaning and organizing my laundry room. I’ll share a few of my projects and I have a wonderful giveaway tomorrow…
So whether you love it… or hate it… we all need to do the laundry.
Thanks so much for posting this qoute. I was feeling bad for myself because I have a lot of straightening and cleaning (laundry-included) to do after a busy weekend; I wasn’t feeling that well and started having a little pity party for myself. Thanks for the reminder of all the things I have to be grateful for!
I can’t wait to see what you post on your laundry room. I think I might enjoy laundry a tad more if I had organization in my laundry room — it drives me nuts! I have been trying, but I am just not there yet!
I have a laundry closet off my kitchen, I HATE it. Wish I had an actual room.
I love laundry, I hate getting it all put away.
I love that quote! I am officially going to enjoy the rest of the laundry I’m doing today while I think of that. I can’t wait to see what you are going to share…thanks!
CRAZY!!! this is my “laundry room clean-out/re-organize” week too…yep, I need an entire week because I can only bear being in that room heaped with clothes and dust for so long. Good luck in your ventures too :-)
I have always HATED laundry.. until I didn’t have a dishwasher and now washing the dishes is now my #1 most hated thing to do. I too have a laundry closet off my kitchen and wish I had a room! Does it count if I have forced our other bedroom/office/guest room/storage room in our tiny apartment into a makeshift laundry room?
I just moved to the northeast from Florida, and I have to admit the hardest transition I have faced is coming from a single level home going to a multi-level. I never knew how lucky I was to have a laundry room (with windows!)and everything else all on one floor. Having the laundry down in the basement and the dirty clothes up two floors is KILLING me. Now I get all teary when I think of my happy little laundry room I so underappreciated all those years…
I love laundry and I especially love laundry that has hung on our clothes line. Especially our bedding. :o)
