In Your Bonnet Giveaway!

Friday afternoon, Kerry from In Your Bonnet dropped me a line.

In Your Bonnet wanted to do a giveaway for the readers of Make it Do!

The giveaway includes their two best selling products, my favorite tube of Heel Thyself and a 4 oz. tin of Bee Balm.

I’ve told you all about how much I LOVE Heel Thyself.

Kerry shared with me more information about Bee Balm, and I can’t wait to try it on our next skin problem.  Kerry said, “We have nicknamed the Bee Balm “miracle in a tin” as it treats so many skin problems.  We have loyal customers using it for dry skin, burns, insect bites, rashes, eczema, and fever blisters.  The 4 oz. tin is nice for home and the 1 oz. tin is perfect for purse or sewing kit.”

Let me also tell you a little more about In Your Bonnet.  Kerry Green and her sister Paula Gonzales are hobby bee keepers.  They began In Your Bonnet after researching  the healing and moisturizing qualities of various herbs and oils.

Kerry said, “Paula and I formulated the recipes and make all the products ourselves. We use only the best natural ingredients and carefully combine them to preserve their integrity.”

  7. O wow, I read about this the other day and thought it looked awesome! Heel Thyself looks amazing! I never seem to win the battle of dry, cracked heels. The bee balm looks great too. hard choice!

  9. The peppermint lip balm sounds wonderful! I always need lip balm when icy wind blows in the fall/winter/spring. Heel Thy Self would be a close second…

  10. Heel Thyself would be the one i would want to try the most. I have always had cracked heels and if this stuff works the way it says it does than it would be a lifesaver.

  11. I would love to try the Heel Thy Self. I grew up in the south and never had problems with my heels. Now that I have settled here in Utah my feet are horrible. I would love to see if this product helps. I have tried a ton of different things!

  12. I need the Heel Thy Self. You know it’s really bad when your husband tells you to go get a pedicure!

  13. Along with most others, I was inspired by your Heel Thy Self post and would love some of that!

  14. Their products look great, I’d love to try them all, but I really need the Heel Thy Self. My heels are so dry from the summer season.

  17. Oh my! My feet AND my pedicurist (is that a word?) would both love it if I tried Heal Thyself! Summer is so hard on feet!

  18. The Heel Thyself and Bee Balm look to be fantastic products. I am an addict for a good peppermint lip balm, and would probably have to put that product on top, but I have use for all three and other In Your Bonnet products. Thanks for introducing us to this wonderful company.

  19. I would love to try Heel Thyself. I might just have to buy a few, and pop them into my mom’s and SIL’s stocking as well, if we can wait that long!

  20. I would love to try Heal Thyself! My feet are in desperate need of something that works. Thanks for introducing us to these products and for the chance to win!

  21. Oh, either the Heel thyself or the mud mask. Say good bye to cracked feet or lack luster skin!

  22. I would love to try the Bee Beautiful Body Butter myself. Looks like my Christmas list is getting a tad bit longer this year. Thanks!

  23. I would really like to try Heel Thyself… just had to replace my sheets because my rough heels worn them down!

  24. I want to try the honey! The real thing — The “Natural Utah Honey”! I love honey. :-)

By the way, I looked at this site several days ago and was sorely tempted to get both “Heel Thyself” and “Bee Balm”. But, I was just too scared to spend that money without first trying it out.

And now, I got to wait 4 weeks before I can splurge for items like these because we’re just started a “no spend” period.

Winning these would be awesome because I can try them out for free. And, if I like, I’d buy for sure!

  25. The heel Thyself would be great. My heels need alittle tlc with wearing fip flops all the time. The site was great and I would like to try several of the products.

  26. Kerry Green is a really talented lady, now the “bees”. I truly need help with my summer feet.

  27. I am such a lip balm gal! You will always find me with a variety of chap stick’s in my purse or pocket! I would love to try her peppermint lip balm! I thought her prices were very affordable and I enjoyed looking at her blog. The Heel Thyself looks perfect for my very dry feet as well! Enjoy the rest of this beautiful summer! Love, Lori C.

  28. Hard to choose, but I think I’d get the most use out of the Sweet Kisses Lip Balm and the Mud Puddle Masque

  29. I would love the Heel Thyself…and probably the bee balm, they both sound wonderful.

  30. It would have to be Heel Thyself. Pedicures have become few and far between since I became a new mom. This products sounds like the perfect treat for the feet of a slightly harried mom!

  31. I have had a HORRIFIC time with my feet since I moved west and the summer has just added to the problem. I would love to try the heel cream…..

  32. I lieterally dreamed last night about the heel cream. I woke up thinking, I’ve got to remember where I read about it and how to get to their shop. I would love to win this!

  33. I am a lip balm girl and most definitely would love these! I’d have to say though that the Mud Puddle Masque would be super relaxing, especially if the kiddos were spending the night at their grandparents and I could actually relax in quiet.

  34. What an amazing shop! I am so addicted to B&B items – just ask my family :)
Would love to try the Moisturizing Hand and Body Lotion in Vanilla Bean! LOVE vanilla!!

  35. I would love to try the lip balm, and of course the famed HEEL Thyself! What a great giveaway!

  36. After I read your first post about the products at In Your Bonnet, I immediately visited their shop website and blog… My uncle used to keep honey bees and when I was a little girl I loved helping him retrieve the combs for honey and wax. I love to use products made with beeswax (I love the natural feel and smell of it!). If I don’t win any of their “Heel Thyself” balm, I’m going to buy some with my first paycheck of the schoolyear!

  37. I think I would love to try all their products, but I’m a sucker for a good bath so the Good Earth Clay Soak looks yummy.

  38. I go barefoot all summer long, so by this time, my feet are dry, cracked, and itchy. I would love to try the Heel Thyself. Other than that, probably the bath salts. I love bath salts!

  39. I love following your projects for your kids. Finally, something just for you! I live in Florida and spend lots of time barefooted. The Heel Thyself would be perfect for me! Let’s stretch summer out as long as we can….

  40. I would LOVE to try “heel thyself”. I have diabetes and as a result my heels get very dry and crack open. They get very sore sometimes. I have tried everything. This would be such a blessing.

  41. I would really like to try the Heel Thyself after reading your review of it. I have ‘summer heels’ and they need help!

  42. Definitely the Heel Thyself. My heels are like sandpaper, especially in the summer when I wear sandals all the time. My husband actually uses his Dremel on my feet, they’re so bad.

    je2kids(at)yahoo(dot)com

  43. WOW, what an awesome website!! I have checked it all out and I’ll have to say what many before me said already….the “Heel Thyself” stick would be my pick. Thanks for a chance to win!! Hugs, Sabrina

  44. Cool giveaway, thanks! The “Wake Up Call” or “Sleepytime” bath salts look divine. Although, as a farmer with perpetually dry hands, Bee Balm or the Berry Body Butter are very (dare I say sorely?) tempting. :)

  45. I was really intrigued with your post on these products earlier. The Heel Thyself is what I can’t wait to try.

  46. I think I want to try one of everything! Seriously, though, my first choice would be the Bee Balm for my sweet son. His hands crack and bleed all winter due to eczema; the colder it gets, the worse his hands are, and guess where he’s living for 2 years? That’s right, ALASKA!!!! If we could find something that will help him, I’d buy it by the truckload!

  47. I checked their site and give kudos to anyone starting a small business!
I’d like to try the heel cream, the lipbalm looks great too.

  48. I would love to try HEEL THYSELF. I like the idea that the product is in stick form for easy application. I would also try the lip balm. Thanks for a chance to win.

  49. Heel thyself! I have serious cracks in my heels. I have to limp when I first get up in the morning! Thanks for the chance to win this product!

  50. When I read your post about Heel Thyself I immediately wanted some! I love flip flops and sandals, but my poor feet don’t love me when I wear them! I would love to win this product!

  51. I have to pick the Heel Thyself because that’s the product I need the most. Although the detoxifying tea bags sound good, too. Thanks for the chance!

  52. i would love to try the vanilla bean lotion for my very dry face!! maybe a more natural product would help!!

  53. I would love to try the Heel Thyself. I haven’t been able to afford a pedicure this summer and have been desperately trying to find things that will help alleviate the cracks in my heels.

  54. I would love to try the Herbal Detoxifying Bath Tea. I love the idea of relaxing in the tub, with beautiful scents surrounding me and my body detoxifying all at the same time. Sounds like heaven!

  55. I detoxed my beauty routine about a year ago and am always on the lookout for natural non-toxic products. I think I’m sold on the “Heel Thyself” balm. I walk everyday and my feet really take a beating! I’d love to be able to try it out through the give-a-way! Fingers Crossed!

  56. Mudd Puddle Mask – I would love to try a product like that – always looking for good things for my face!

  57. aaah the heal cream would be great! All i do is walk and my feet are horrible and need healing =)

  58. I definitly want to try Heel Thyself. I don’t live in a dry climate but still get cracked feet in the summer just from wearing sandals. But if I won I would probably send it to my sister who lives in Wyoming and has craters on her heels.

  59. I’d love to try the Heel Thyself, my feet are bare whenever possible in the summer and need all the help they can get!

  60. I love the packaging of Heel Thyself. I have used similar products before and love the idea of the stick application. I am sure that it smells wonderful!

  61. I would love the Bee Balm. I recently ran out of a similar salve. It’s great for everything from pimples to bug bites.

  62. I would love to try the Bee Balm! I’m pretty clumsy and would love to try it on my cooking war wounds :)

  63. First time to your site and theirs and I love them both! I would love (and need) the heel cream.

  64. My feet are horrible!! like sandpaper….heavy grit! lol! I’d LOVE LOVE to try their heel thyself!

  65. Heal Thyself sounds awesome and my daughter was just saying how she needed something for her feet. This product sounds ideal for her.

  66. I would love to try Heel Thyself. But I live in southern Idaho. I know the dry, cracked summer feet all too well. Silly desert.

  67. I think the Heel Thyself is what I need the most right now after a summer of sandals!

  68. Heel Thyself
    Herbal Detoxifying Bath Tea
They both sound like just the ticket for this HOT, HOT summer!

  69. I would love to try the Heel Thyself heel cream. I have feet of am construction worker and don’t wear sandals because of it. If I had this cream it would go a long way to help my self image of my feet.

  70. I have to go with the Heel Thyself because of the dry cracked heels. I need all the help I can get!

  71. Since I have committed to wearing flip flops till the first snow fall and then again breaking them out at the first sign of spring I am in desperate need of heel thyself! Cracked and dry feet be gone!

  72. I need Heel Thyself! I live in Houston and wear flip-flops pretty much year-round. My heels are NOT pretty right now, and I’ve been trying to find something to help.

  73. I could really use the Heal Thyself cream, but I really want to try the Sleepytime Chakra Bath Salts. All their products look great!

  75. The hand and body moisturizer sounds like just what I need. My hands are always so dry and chapped. Thanks for having the giveaway.

  76. Heel Thyself looks great! I am diabetic so cracked heels are always an issue for me. I gotta get me this!

  77. Definitely Heel Thyself – I have the worst cracked feet – they never really heal between summers.

  78. My heels are seriously the worst you have ever seen. I am very skeptical when I see products that help cracked heels. So I would love to try this out and be pleasantly surprised when my heels are lovely once again!

  79. after breaking my arm this weekend, I think a good soak in my old clawfoot tub with some Herbal Detoxifying Bath Tea would hit the spot. What a great shopping site. Lots of nice gift ideas, too!

  80. The Sweet Kisses Lip Balm! I through tons of balm and would like to find some that is cheaper.

  81. Sweet Kisses Lip Balm, Moisturizing Hand and Body Butter, and Heel Thyself all sound great! The older I get, the drier my skin gets. These sound wonderful to help my problems!

  82. It would absolutely have to be “Heel Thyself” – I’ve actually seen a doctor for my feet, he said I have some form of incurable dermatitis, not dangerous but also not pretty. I’ve tried some naturals (tea tree for instance) which irritated. Thought I’d just have to live with the scales and bumps (not to mention peeling) but this product looks promising and I’ll be getting some soon.

  83. Well, I *need* some Heel Thyself, but I *want* to try the detoxifying bath tea. It sounds amazing, and I really need a good way to relax after running around after a toddler all day.

  84. I would love to try Heel Thyself! Every night, I put on Bath & Body’s Body Butter and socks. For the really rough spots, I use vaseline, but it’s so icky and greasy. This works well — especially with cotton socks to help keep the body butter on my feet and not on my sheets. However, I’d love to see how Heel Thyself compares. It sounds wonderful!

  85. Oh I would love to try the Heel Thyself. I have always had trouble with dry cracking heels. Nothing I have tried works.

  86. Heel thyself since I have 5 kids that always seem to have some sort of malady on their bodies. I wouldn’t have to worry about it being harmful for them.

  87. I would definately try the bee balm. My son has eczema I would love to try it on his skin. (and for me – the heel thyself)

    Thanks!

  88. I’d love to try the heel thyself. My kiddos run around barefoot and I’m tired of my legs feeling like they’re in a cheese grater when they snuggle with me at night.

  89. I don’t know if it’s all the heat or the constant wearing of flip flops, but my heels are awful! Is love to try the Heel Thyself. What a great business these ladies have. Thank you for introducing me to them.
    Erin :)

  90. I would love to try the Heel Thyself for my feet. In the summertime I wear flip-flops or sandals every day and my feet show it! I would also like to try the Sweet Kisses Lip Balm — all the flavors sound so yummy!

  91. I would love to try either product, but if I must choose, it would be Heel Thyself. I have used Aveda Foot Relief for years, but lately it’s not working as well as it used to. (Might be the 10 days I just did at the beach on the north coast of CA :))

  92. The Heel Thyself sounds awesome although the Mud Puddle Masque is also pretty intriguing!

  97. I would love to try the Heel Thyself! I have rough, cracked heels and have not found a solution.

  100. The Heel Thyself would be a great blessing, not only to me, but my poor hubby who has to put up with my scratchy feet at nite….=(

  102. Looks like they have some great products. This time of year the Heel Thyself looks like something I would really LoVe to keep sandal worthy feet!

  103. i farm and am on my feet all day everyday, for several hours at a time…plus i have 3 little girls to chase after…needless to say my feet could definately use some heel thyself :)

  104. I would love to try the Heel Thy Self, my feet are always a mess and I love the idea of a natural solution. The Bee Balm sounds interesting too, I have used tiger balm in the past but am always concerned about the ingredients since it is made in China.

  106. I have high-maintence skin and it sounds like Bee Balm would be great thing to use on my multiple skin problems.

  107. The lip balm looked tempting, but I’d have to say the Bee Balm. I have a 2 yo with eczema and I’m always looking for something that might work better for him.

  108. Heel Thyself, definitely. The farm child I am still goes barefoot 10 months out of the year. And my heels look it. ;-)

  109. Heel thyself is something I could use. Summer in florida means sandals with bare feet and nice heels and toes.

  110. I would love the Heel Thyself. My husbands always telling me my heels look like the grand canyons and wouldn’t I love to show him what the flat lands look like.

  111. I’d just love to win these items because I live in the hot Southern California desert and I really need to heal my heels. On their site, I’d love to try the mud puddle masque and am thinking of ordering it.

  112. Would love to feel smooth sexy feet with HEEL THYSELF! Especially since I have a podiatrist appointment in a few weeks and I’m sure my doctor would love to see something better than these nasty rough toes!

  113. After camping all summer I for sure need Heel Thyself, if I don’t win I will go ahead and purchase some :)

  114. I would love to try Heel Thyself. Just spent the afternoon getting a pedicure to try and help my poor feet…nothing seems to help.

  115. Would buy just about any of her products, but first I really need Heel Thy self. Love the natural Honey too

  116. Definitely, the hand/body lotion. I am the Queen of hand lotion. Can never have enough. My second pic would be Heel Thy Self.

  117. i would love to try heel thyself first – and then the bath items – and the lip balms – and then the body lotion – and the honey – and …

  118. Would love to try the Heel Thyself for my husbands diabetic feet. For me, the lip balm, I love for lip balms!

  126. It all sounds WONDERFUL and worth a try. My first choice is the Bee Balm….sounds like it will cover a world of troubles!

  131. May Canadians enter? I’d love to try the Bee Balm – my hands could definitely use it, especially since we’re headed toward fall.

  132. The Chakra Bath Salts sound wonderful, especially the Summer Afternoon scent…or maybe the Sleepytime scent to relax at night. I really need to get some Heel Thyself for my hubby though. All that time in Army boots plays havoc on his poor feet.

  133. I would love to try the Muddle Puddle Masque. I feel like my facial skin needs smoothing out. Perhaps this would do the trick.

  134. oooh! cool giveaway!
and i loved checking out a new honey site!
