Labor Day
The grand essentials to happiness in this life are something to do, something to love, and something to hope for.
– Joseph Addison
It’s Labor Day here in America… and I just wanted to share this thought on labor. Work is part of most everyone’s life… and if it isn’t, well you probably need a good psychiatrist. Nothing wears away troubles like having some good labor to throw your heart and mind into.
Ironically, our family will spend Labor Day in a leisurely way… by visiting the Soldier Hollow Classic– the annual sheep dog competition in Heber, Utah. Since my family loves the movie Babe, I think we will all really enjoy the day.

I can’t wait to share pictures from Saturday’s wedding of my brother Josh and his new wife Jen. Everything was absolutely beautiful and in the words of the bride, “a perfect day…” Look for pictures tomorrow.
