Hurray for March
Do you have spring fever? I know I do.
Even though I’m happy to have more snow… the skiing in Utah has been crazy good this year….
I know I have spring fever because:
- I only want to sew 1930’s fabrics.
- I’ve been pouring over seed catalogs.
- I want to change my kitchen curtains to something light and happy.
- I’m ready to clean out every closet in my home.
- I can hardly walk by the primroses on sale at the grocery store without buying a few.
I’ve got more than a few projects going right now. I am busy sewing dresses for my girls and their dolls for their upcoming birthday. I am trying to make them as 1930’s as I can… altering a pattern is always an adventure.
I don’t know why I’m sharing some of my gingham ribbon, except that I’m on a gingham ribbon kick. I’ve been using it as much as I can in every project I can.
Speaking of gingham, I can’t wait to share some of my projects for my twin’s 1930’s American Girl Birthday Party…. more to come on the invitations and the party very soon… It’s going to be very sweet and totally Make it Do…
Oh my kids want to go snowboarding so bad. We are hoping to go the week my youngest is on spring break (March 11) but they are dragging their feet about where to go. We live in the south, so we know basically nothing about places to go.
I love that envelope! I can’t wait to see the whole birthday party. What an awesome idea! And boy am I ready for spring too.
Can’t wait to hear about all the details!
LOVE gingham ribbon :)
Oh, how I love gingham ribbon!
Oh the fabric, the ribbon, the envelope. Everything is so cute! A 1930’s party is such a cute idea.
