Lovely Patterns
Don’t you just love this quilt? It’s called “Lovely Stars.”
This pattern, called the Red Cross Quilt, is in homage to Clara Barton and the Red Cross.
I’m currently in love with everything 1930’s… which is part of why I love this quilt so much. The photo can’t come close to doing this wonderful pattern justice. It’s called “Summer Days” … another reason to love this quilt right about now.
What do all these quilts have in common?
The patterns are from Norma Whaley and Joyce Weeks and their newly formed partnership and pattern company. The two of them are truly a powerhouse of quilting talent.
These patterns are also near and dear to my heart because my mom collaborated on the designs.
Now through Sunday they are giving away 4 FABULOUS patterns at Joyce’s blog. To enter to win simply click over to Joyce’s blog called Geoff’s Mom and leave a comment. Along with the patterns, Joyce and Norma are throwing in a surprise with the giveaway.
Also while you are there, be sure to check out their new wool journal cover patterns. They are so wonderful!
Calli,
Thanks so much! Loved everything you wrote!

I really like the red cross quilt. Thanks for sharing.
I have some 30’s inspired fabric and love it ~ have had it for awhile now as I haven’t yet found a pattern for it that I really like. The Summer Days is really pretty and think I may have enough fabric to do it!
thanks for the post today, love those quilts!
